1. What you need to know

   • Material Receipt window features two options: one to confirm the reception of purchased materials and another one to return back items to their supplier.

   • If you receive multiple sets of products, these sets can be assigned to a lot. (Material Receipt).

   • You can return lots that are to be expired soon or lots that have already expired.

   • Complete the requisition process for product batches so you can visualize inventory items that are to be expired. See more here

   • Products must be set in Charge Master II by personnel in charge.

2. Benefits

   • Allows you to return expired medications

   • Prevents your hospital from accumulating expired stock

   • Improves warehouse processes by letting you know if a medication will expire soon

3. Start Lots Returning

Go to Material Receipt window and perform this actions to create a new request:

a. Click New Record to create new request:

b. Fill Header information:

• Select MM Returns

• Enter Supplier name

• Fill all missing fields

Save.
